All undergraduate programs require students to complete the Ramapo College General Education Requirements.

Biology BS Requirements

Students pursuing the Biology BS must complete the requirements outlined below.

Biology with Pre-Med/Pre-Health Articulated Programs

Students majoring in Biology with an articulated pre-med/pre-health program must complete all prerequisites and select Biology major requirements outlined in the respective graduation plans before they proceed to complete their education at our partner program schools. Upon the successful completion of their first year of studies at the graduate school, students apply for graduation to receive their Ramapo College Bachelor of Science degree. At the completion of their course of studies in the graduate program, students are awarded their professional or graduate degree. Articulated programs require students to apply separately to the participating school and to meet all conditions for admission before acceptance.

Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) - Northeast College of Health Sciences
Doctor of Optometry (OD) - SUNY College of Optometry
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) - Rutgers School of Health Professions
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) - New York College of Podiatric Medicine (Touro University)
Medical College Early Acceptance Program - Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM)
Pharmacy 3+4 Program - Touro College of Pharmacy
Pharmacy Early Acceptance Program - Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM)
