Course Description
This course combines lectures, student presentations. seminar-style discussions and group projects to introduce students to concepts and issues related to the sustainable use and management of a wide variety of natural resources. Specific topics include sustainable agriculture and landscaping, forest resources, fisheries, water, ecological footprints, conservation ecology, restoration ecology and sustainability on college campuses. Best practices are emphasized throughout the course. SUST230 is cross listed with ENSC230.
