The Fieldwork in Sociology of Community does not meet as a class. Students must complete 96 hours of community work during the semester in a group or institution relevant to sociology. Each student will meet with the instructor individually during the semester to discuss his/her site work. As a final project, and based on their individual field practices, students will produce a paper that integrates both the field and classroom work.
