Students will gain an understanding of the organization and environment in which nursing and health care is provided. They will be exposed to economics of health care, business principles, risk management, performance excellence and an understanding of policy development and change within health care systems. 3 credits Pre-reqs: Pharmacology, Patterns of Mental Health, Patterns of Childbearing Family, Patterns of Childcaring Family.
