Course Description

This course enables students to expand their understanding of human environmental interactions and evolving family patterns. This course provides opportunities to explore the family as a unified whole, its patterns and organization, and the implications of common and complex health patterns from birth to young adulthood with the use of classroom lectures, seminars, and clinical practicum. 4 credits (2 didactic, 2 laboratory) Pre-reqs: Foundations of Nursing, Comprehensive Health Assessment, Pathophysiology, Health Promotion and Disease Prevention in a Multicultural Society. Lab Fee.
