Course Description

This course enables students to define and differentiate between mental health and alterations in mental health patterns. Provides students with opportunities to explore the implications of alterations in mental health patterns for humans, individuals, families, and communities through classroom lectures, seminars, and a clinical practicum. 5 credits (3 didactic, 2 laboratory) Pre-reqs: Foundations of Nursing, Comprehensive Health Assessment, Pathophysiology, Health Promotion and Disease Prevention in a Multicultural Society. Lab Fee.
