Course Description

This course enables students to identify human-environmental interactions as they relate to nursing practice. Classroom experiences and seminars provide students with critical thinking, communication skills, therapeutic nursing, ethical and legal guidelines, and beginning therapeutic, intervention and teaching and learning strategies. Faculty-supervised learning laboratory practice provides students with opportunities to develop cognitive and psychomotor skills related to basic principles of nursing practice 4 credits (3 didactic, 1 laboratory) Pre-reqs Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2. Lab Fee.
