Course Description
A consideration of the conduct of research in Neuroscience. Topics will include the philosophy of scientific research, ethical questions in experimentation, an introduction to descriptive and inferential statistics, use of library and internet resources, use of experimental tools and techniques, research design, the collection and analysis of data, and reporting of research. There will be a lecture, laboratory exercises, and written reports. Course fee required.
