Course Description
Students will learn about and explore compositional techniques and aesthetics from various eras
and genres through composing and analyzing notated music for various forces. The course will
culminate in a performance or recording of the students' original works. Students should take the
course MUSI 210: Musicianship II prior to this course, but may also be taking both of the
courses concurrently. This course may be taken twice for credit.
