This course is developed for managers to introduce analytics tools and platforms and build competencies in data management and exploratory data analysis. Students will learn a comprehensive set of data-related techniques through lessons, demonstrations, and lab/homework assignments. It is targeted at future managers to train data-savvy managers with competencies in the process of importing data, structuring and preparing data, exploring data, analyzing data, and creating reports to communicate analytical insights. The course provides opportunities to work in multidisciplinary teams, practice communicating with analytics professionals, present effective data-driven reports, and make data-informed decisions. The material covered in this course is designed to prepare managers to have a systematic approach to business analytics and follow a proper methodology for accessing data, investigating and preparing data, data analysis, and reporting.
