Course Description
The course aims to provide leaders the tools to respond to a crisis in organizations, which are sudden and unexpected events that threaten to disrupt the organization’s operations, finances, and reputation. The content entails, understanding the significant impacts of crises on the company and its stakeholders, carrying out a root-cause analysis of the different types of crises, and responding to the situation. The course’s primary focus is training to be responsive rather than reactive in a crisis, and how the leader should lead (and not just manage) and communicate in such contexts. The course will conclude with a short review of change management models to help prepare for and prevent crises in the future.
