SENIOR CAPSTONE
Course Description
This course is one of the two courses comprising the capstone of the Law and Society Program that
generally foster experiential and life-long learning. It is the culmination of one's study in Law and
Society. It is only open to Law and Society majors--specifically juniors and seniors who intend to
graduate in three semesters or less. In this course, students plan and complete a capstone research
project or thesis, incorporating the perspectives and methodologies they have studied throughout the
program. The capstone project is a major undertaking that critically examines an issue chosen by the
student with the help of the instructor and showcases the student's original work.
