This course is designed to deepen knowledge of the theory and practice of using strategies of reading, writing, language, and speaking/listening to teach the content areas (particularly science and social studies) in elementary schools. Students will also learn how to integrate ELA strategies into content area lesson plans, and connect what they learn in class to their Clinical Practice experiences. Course fee required.
