Course Description
An introduction to both historical and contemporary sculptural techniques. Casting, carving, modeling, and constructivist fabrication will be stressed in the context of the development of individual imagery. Students will also be introduced to the basis of sculpture through readings, lectures, and formal three-dimensional problem-solving. Course fee required.
