PROGRAM OUTCOMES

Upon graduation from this program, graduates will:

Knowledge: Apply knowledge synthesized from nursing science, basic sciences, and humanities to support global nursing and a holistic view of the person-centered dynamic.
Evidence based research and practice: Apply best scholarly practice standards to the delivery of safe, equitable and inclusive care to diverse populations across the healthcare continuum. Initiate inquiry to address system wide healthcare issues.
Information Management: Use current and emerging technology to manage and evaluate current information and outcomes appropriate for the delivery of evidence based care to diverse populations.
Professionalism: Model principles of professional accountability and personal well-being when practicing within the healthcare community. Upholds ethical principles and values including justice, autonomy, human rights, integrity and civility.
Social Advocacy: Promotes equity and inclusion and act in the best interest of individuals, communities, populations and the nursing profession. Supports the need of the diverse global population while recognizing the impact of social determinants of health on diverse populations.
Leadership: Applies principles of leadership to influence systems-based practice change in the delivery of equitable and inclusive care to global populations.
Role Function: Communicates and collaborates within interdisciplinary healthcare environments utilizing scholarly findings for the implementation of high quality and safe, equitable and inclusive person-centered care.
