Course Description

This 4-credit course surveys a wide range of American women‘s voices and stories as through literary forms including the novel, poetry, memoir, and short fiction. We will many elements of women’s experiences and the ways those experiences are shaped by such as race, class, sexual orientation, historical period, age, ability, and others. We want to frame and to answer a variety of questions about women’s experiences and their for expression in the United States. This course is cross-listed as SOSC 223 and LITR245.
