POLITICAL SCIENCE METHODOLOGY
Course Description
The endeavor of posting and answering political questions is the heart of political science, but the types of questions and methods of investigation are many. Political science as a field has liberally borrowed research methods from sociology, psychology, economics, geography, history, and others. This course, a requirement for the major, is an overview and introduction to political inquiry and its presentation generally, and the main methods used by contemporary and previous generations of political scientists in analyzing political phenomena in many contexts.
