This course is focused on the study of physical acoustics and sound perception. The relationship between the physical world of hearing will be explored through a broad range of musical examples and technical demonstrations. A creative approach to understanding basic acoustics and psychoacoustics will be taken, with creative projects assigned to complement theoretical concepts introduced each week.
