Ramix Recordings is the record label of the Ramapo College Music Program, established in 2015. ln this course students will carry out all aspects of creating a compilation release of music created by Ramapo students utilizing skills they have acquired in the Music Industry curriculum. A & R practices, production of tracks, contracts, marketing, promotion, distribution, monetization, and the organization of live events to support the release will all be incorporated
into the class activities. In addition, the current state of the recording industry will be explored through a research paper. The course is a hybrid course, class meetings will occur every two weeks and other activities and assignments will be carried out online.
