The Ramapo College Concert Band is open to all Ramapo students. The ensemble performs a wide variety of styles including contemporary and traditional repertoire. The course requires the genuine desire to perform high quality music and to work with the director and fellow musicians to achieve musical goals. The Ramapo Concert Band provides each student with opportunities to enhance and demonstrate his or her individual abilities, as well as, gain skill in music reading, ear training, stylistic understanding, and overall musicianship. The Concert Band welcomes committed musicians from all academic programs. The instructor will evaluate all interested students and make every effort to accommodate all players.
