Course Description
The Internet has emerged as a key platform to facilitate commerce and communication on a global basis. The Internet continues to grow at exponential rates and is transforming the value chain of virtually every industry. This course examines how the Internet and related technologies are transforming the ways in which firms market their products and services to provide greater customer value. This course will provide students with an appreciation of the opportunities and challenges that marketing managers face in this dynamic environment. This class will give students a theoretical understanding of Internet marketplace adaptations which are necessary for fast-changing platforms, while also equipping students with the skills they will need to perform vital daily functions.
