FOUNDATIONS OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Course Description
The course focuses on why and how information technology should be used to meet organizational goals. Topics include the following: computer hardware and software architecture; organizing data; telecommunications and networks; types of systems and their development; and the role of information technology in business and society. Students will solve selected business problems using commonly used business software.
