HIST410

This is the capstone course for students completing the History major. The course also counts as an elective for the History minor. In this course, students are provided with focused training in historical research and writing, culminating in the production of a major research paper. Critical analysis of primary sources will be emphasized, along with key interpretations and historiographic debates specific to the course topic.
