Course Description
In this course students will identify, analyze, and practice the principles and techniques of writing a feature-length fiction screenplay. Students will pitch, plan, and research their stories, write and revise loglines, produce detailed outlines and character biographies, and complete and revise the first half of a feature-length screenplay. Students are required to use appropriate screenwriting software, proper script formatting, create and maintain a writer's notebook, and meet strict deadlines.
