ENSC 417 Ecological Field Research Lecture runs concurrently with ENSC 417L Ecological Field Research Lab. The two courses together focus largely on semester-long, independent field Research projects that are designed and implemented by student teams. In addition to designing and implementing field research, in the lecture course students conduct literature searches, participate in joumal article discussions, write research reviews, analyze and interpret their data, and write press releases about their projects.
