ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE METHODS AND MODELS
Course Description
This course will cover a variety of computer-based methods and models used in environmental sciences. Topics include general statistical analyses and time-series analyses of environmental data, air pollution modeling, climate change modeling, analyses of atmospheric circulation patterns, and mapping and analyses of spatial environmental data. The course is predominately based on research projects students will work on individually or in groups. Students acquire background knowledge regarding the topics through lectures, presentations, and reviews of research articles.
