INTEGRATED LIFE / ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE
Course Description
Students in this course will examine the cross cutting concepts contained in the newest science standards while exploring major concepts in the core disciplines of life and environmental science. Topics will include biogeochemical cycles, characteristics of living things, basic chemistry of life, cells, evolution, adaptation, DNA, heredity and genetics, energy and its flow through the ecosystem, food chains and webs, biomes, sustainability, and human body systems.
