The FOMC’s (and Federal Reserve Board's) decisions through the recent financial crisis will be a special focus, as will the speed of potential "normalization" of policy in the current environment.

ECON-390: CURRENT ECONOMIC PROBLEMS: This class will provide an understanding of macroeconomic fundamentals, monetary policy, fiscal policy, and the business environment. It will further use this understanding to analyze the complexity of controversial economic issues.
