ARTS324

This class teaches students the practical and creative aspects of documentary photography. Students will learn to develop a photo essay within the framework of a documentary project. Assignments will guide students through some areas of exploration, and by mid-semester they will identify their own area of investigation, which will lead towards a self-chosen final project. Students will learn and examine the historical and contemporary critical issues of documentary photography.
