This course is a second-level studio class involving technical experimentation as well as a series of thematically unified final project work in various media related to painting. This is not an introductory level studio course; it is necessary that all students have some prior experience in painting. The actual course requirements regarding the specific number, subject matter, and technical focus of the final project portfolio will be determined by the instructor and the student in individual consultation.
